The degree program in mechanical engineering aims to give students a robust and solid preparation both on core and elective disciplines. The program also aims to allow students to easily enter the industrial and tertiary sector as well as expand their knowledge in the field. The program focuses on two main study areas: materials and energy. More specifically, students will gain knowledge on the following: chemical and mechanical aspects of materials and production technologies; acquisition of methods and tools for planning and assessment of mechanical systems; use of methods and tools for planning and management of energetic systems; knowledge of economic, management and organizational aspects.
