    Programma:
    Concetti fondamentali. L’economia politica: lo studio delle scelte in condizioni di scarsità. Il comportamento economico: razionalità e analisi costi-benefici. Il costo opportunità. Il ruolo e l’utilità dei modelli economici. Elementi di matematica per l’economia.

    Microeconomia. 1) Il modello microeconomico della domanda e dell’offerta di mercato di un bene. 2) Le decisioni di consumo degli individui: vincolo di bilancio e massimizzazione dell’utilità; 3) Le imprese e i costi di produzione (breve e lungo periodo); 4) La determinazione di prezzi e quantità dei beni e servizi in concorrenza perfetta e in mercati imperfetti (monopolio e concorrenza monopolistica). 5) Imprese, comportamento strategico e interdipendenza reciproca (Oligopolio); 6) Il ruolo delle esternalità.

    Macroeconomia. 1) Dal modello microeconomico della domanda e dell’offerta di mercato di un bene al modello della domanda e dell’offerta aggregata (modello AD-AS). Indice dei prezzi, Inflazione e Prodotto interno Lordo (PIL). 2) Tasso di crescita del PIL, cicli economici e disoccupazione. 3) Domanda aggregata (breve e lungo periodo). Tasso di interesse e mercati finanziari. Politica economica (fiscale e monetaria). 4) Mercato del lavoro e offerta aggregata (breve e lungo periodo). 5) Il funzionamento del modello della domanda e dell’offerta aggregata (breve e lungo periodo). Il ruolo delle aspettative sui prezzi. 6) Commercio internazionale e tassi di cambio.
