1998 On February 12th, at the University of Salerno, he obtains a degree in Electronic Engineering with a 110/110 cum laude vote with an experimental thesis in Electronic Measurements entitled: "Techniques for the measurement of R, L and C parameters in non-sinusoidal regime ".
1998 He obtained the qualification to practice the profession of Engineer.
1998 Won the competition for admission to the PhD program in Electrical Engineering at the University of Naples, curriculum "Electrical Measurements" (XIV cycle).
2000 He wins and coordinates a research project related to the Young Researchers call of the University of Salerno, for the realization of a tool for measuring R, L, C parameters in a non-sinusoidal regime. Duration 24 months.

As of today, this Laboratory counts as two regular Professors, 2 Associate Professor, 1 Researcher, 1 T.D.TIPO B Researcher, 1 laboratory technician, 1 PhD student, 1 research fellow. In this context, the undersigned coordinates the scientific activities of the laboratory both for research and teaching activities (including the carrying out of the degree and doctoral theses), but also for what regards the research activities financed by Public Bodies, Bodies Individuals and private companies. Within the activities of the La.M.I., the writer also coordinates the metrological activities of the same with regard to third mission services.
2006 He obtained the title of Aggregate Professor of Electrical Measurements II at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Cassino.
2008 is a founding member and board member of the university spin-off, called "Spring Off", of the University of Salerno. This company proposes the development and implementation of an innovative electronically controlled suspension system for motorcycles; the company is also involved in the hardware and software design of sensor nodes also for smart metering applications and in the provision of consulting services.

In 2015, he is a founding member of the university spin-off, called "Metering Research srl", of the University of Salerno. This company proposes the development and implementation of an innovative remote reading and management system for water and gas meters for smart metering applications.
Since 2016 he is the scientific head of the research unit of the University of Cassino at the inter-university research consortium Me.S.E. (Metrics and Measurement Technologies on Electrical Systems).

2) From 15/01/2016 to 15/03/2017 he coordinates the research activities of the Electrical and Electronic Measurements working group at the University of Cassino in the framework of the European GRANT F4E-GRT- "Senior Expert" 640, received from the CREATE consortium, entitled "DEVELOPMENT OF A MEASURING SYSTEM OF INDUCED VOLTAGES IN FERROMAGNETIC STRUCTURES";
3) From 2016, participates to the grant for the European project proposed by the European Consortium "NDTonAIR", formed by a team of universities, research centers and companies involved in the development of techniques and methods for "Non-Destructive" Testing "(NDT), coordinates the European research doctorates of the consortium for a total period of 12 months. 1) In 2016, He receives from the CREATE consortium the coordination of testing activities within the European GRANT GRT-640 between the F4E (Fusion for Energy) consortium and CREATE aimed at the creation of magnetic field probes to be inserted into the reactor ITER. In this context, the writer participates in the realization of the final project deliverables relating to measurement activities.

At the beginning of his research activity, He dealt with the characterization of electrical components and systems in a sinusoidal and non-sinusoidal regime. Subsequently, he focused on issues related to the implementation of non-contact measurements in general, and non-destructive tests in particular. Aspects related to sensing, those relating to the processing of measurement data in industrial and medical applications, were tackled, and finally, innovative measurement devices were proposed. Then he faced issues related to methods and measuring instruments for the characterization of telecommunication devices have been addressed with attention also to the realization and experimental characterization of interfaces and sensor networks in wired and wireless distributed measurement systems . In this context, particular attention was given to issues related to the implementation of tools for RF measurement, to the creation and characterization of synchronization protocols for wired and wireless sensor networks and to the realization of reliable methods for quality measurement. of service in communication networks.
In each of the research topics listed above, the undersigned has contributed to the conception, modeling, realization and experimental characterization of measurement systems, in the realization of devices and measurement algorithms based on hardware platforms such as microcontrollers, Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA).
