Minimum ECTS credits required to apply for internship:
- Economics with data science (classe L-33): 100 CFU/ECTS
- Economia e commercio - curriculum Economics and business (classe L-33): 100 CFU/ ECTS
- Economics and entrepreneurship (classe LM-56): 40 CFU/ ECTS
- Global economy and business (classe LM-56): 40 CFU/ ECTS
TO GET THE INTERNSHIP CREDITS, STUDENTS HAVE THE FOLLOWING THREE OPTIONS:
1) STANDARD INTERNSHIP (1 ECTS credit = 25 hours of internship: check your plan of studies for the total hours) :
=>step 1: Choose a company with an official agreement with our University, by checking the official list (called "elenco delle convenzioni"). If you want to do an internship with a Company not included in the list, you have to make it apply for the official agreement, by using the official procedure . The Office in charge of the new agreement is the Job placement at Rectorship . N.B. For the internship of masters' degrees students, before the agreement request do contact the directors of courses for the correct requirements of the company. You can also do an internship in a university laboratory (in this case, you don't need the agreement).
=>step 2:Check if the company with the official agreement is available for letting you do an interniship, being supported by a company supervisor. After that, you have also to find a professor of our university, in order to have a university supervisor .
=>step 3: Submit the Internship learning plan to the Information and Advisory Office, fully filled in (except for the signature of the Director of the course)
=>step 4:After the regular submission of the internship learning plan , the information and Advisory Office will be in charge of the approval of it and, in a few days, will inform you about the official starting date of the internship.
=>step 5: For the interniship credits upload, you have to submit to the Information and Advisory Office the following five internship forms:
- Internship timesheet, fully filled in and undersigned by the student, the university supervisor and the company supervisor;
- Internship report, written by the student according to the following official guidelines: Economics and business guidelines for internship report / EE and GLEB guidelines for internship report. The intership report has to be appproived and undersigned by the university supervisor;
- Traineeship assessment form for student, fully filled in and undersigned by the student;
- Traineeship assessment form for Company, fully filled in and undersigned by the company (to be delivered in sealed envelope);
- Internship ECTS-credits upload request, fully filled in and undersigned by the student and the university tutor.
=>step 6:The Information and Advisory Office, after the verification of the final documentation submitted, will activate the procedure of the internship credits upload through GOMP . For the upload of the internship credits the presence of student is not required.
2) INTERNSHIP DONE WITH ERASMUS+ PROGRAMME, through the Erasmus + for traineeship
For the official selection preocedure, the detailed information and support, do contact directly the Erasmus Office at the Rectorship .
3) VALIDATION OF THE INTERNSHIP CREDITS FROM A JOB/TRAINEESHIP CONTRACT:
If you did a regular job/traineeship for at least 6 months with an official contract and if this job/traineeship has been done with tasks consistents with your degree , you can apply for its validation as internship. If it will be approved by the Committee, you can have directly the internship credits uploaded to your GOMP.
For the application you have to use the ECTS credits validation application procedure through GOMP . You have to attach to your request the two following documents:
1) Official work/traineeship certificate, realeased by the company, written on headed paper, with stamp and signature. On this certificate they have to declare the duration of the contract and write a clear job/traineeship description.
2) Traineeship report, written by the student according to the following official guidelines: Economics and business guidelines for internship report / EE and GLEB guidelines for internship report.
Once submitted the GOMP request, the Committee will evaluate the documentation, and, if it is valid, the internship credits will be uploaded directly to the GOMP profile.
