A Dialogue Between Italy and China Through Art

The exhibition "Plots of Time Between East and West" is an artistic journey that connects different cultures and traditions through the works of Zhao Jun, Liu Ke, and Fausto Roma. The exhibition explores time as a weaving of experiences, memory, and innovation, creating a bridge between past and future.

The event is organized by the Delegation for the Promotion of Culture and Knowledge – SCIRE of the University of Cassino and Southern Lazio, with the patronage of prestigious institutions such as the ICC – Institute for Chinese Culture, the China Academy of Art, and the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts.

The Artists and Their Works

Zhao Jun – Time and nature as archives of memory. His works are inspired by phenology and the traditional Chinese calendar, reinterpreting the passage of time through painting.

Liu Ke – Spatial weavings between balance and tension. His layered materials create a reflection on transformation and sustainability.

Fausto Roma – The visual music of form. A multifaceted art that blends sculpture and painting, inviting the audience into a sensory and conceptual experience.

An Immersive Experience

The exhibition is divided into three thematic sections, designed to offer an immersive journey and stimulate reflection:

Memory and Tradition – A journey through historical roots and their contemporary artistic reinterpretation.
Dialogues and Encounters – The meeting between East and West through a universal artistic language.
Visions of the Future – Art as a tool for innovation and experimentation, shaping new expressive scenarios.
