Maurizio Pugno

Maurizio Pugno is Full Professor of Economics at the University of Cassino (Italy). He studied at Cambridge, UK (M.Phil.) and Birkbeck, London. He taught at the Universities of Trento, Pisa, Milan, and Naples. His most cited articles have contributed to economics of well-being and welfare (published in Social Indicators Research and Cambridge Journal of Economics), economic growth and structural change (Structural Change and Economic Dynamics, Journal of Post Keynesian Economics). He is specialised in interdisciplinary research (psychology and philosophy). He recently published two books: Well-being and Growth in Advanced Economies (Routledge) in 2022 and On the Foundations of Happiness in Economics (Routledge) in 2016. He is a member of the World Well-Being Panel. His h-index in Publish or Perish is 23.
