Piero Esposito

Piero Esposito is Associate Professor in Economic Policy. He joined the University of Cassino and Southern Lazio in 2019. Previously, he had been post-doctoral fellow at the National Statistical institute (ISAE-ISTAT, 2009-2010), at Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies (2011-2014) and at the National Institute for Public Policy Analyses (INAPP, 2018-2019). Between 2014 and 2022 he had been member of the research group of the LUISS School of European Political Economy; and he is Adjunct Professor at LUISS Guido Carli since 2013. His research interests focus on Labour Economics, International Economics and Applied Econometrics. As policy expert, he worked as consultant for the European Trade union Institute (ETUI), the European Parliament, and the London School of Economics Enterprise. His articles have been published in several international journal, including Oxford Review of Economic Policy, Structural Change and Economic Dynamics, Journal of Policy Modeling, and Economic Modelling. His current research focuses on the role of personality traits as determinants of educational and labour market outcome, and on the determinants and characteristics of entrepreneurship in Europe.
