Valentino Parisi

Valentino Parisi is Assistant Professor of Public Finance at the Department of Economics and Law of the University of Cassino and Southern Lazio where he teaches Public economics and Issues in international taxation. His main research interests focus on the effects of corporate taxes on firms’ investment and financing choices, corporate tax aggressiveness, tax microsimulation modelling, entrepreneurship. His most recent publication include: Aspiration bias and job satisfaction of Italian young graduates, Economia Politica (2022, with D. Federici and F. Ferrante); Family Firms’ Aggressive Tax Planning: An Empirical Evaluation for Italy, Italian Economic Journal (2022, with D. Federici); Heterogenous firms, corporate taxes and export behavior: a firm-level investigation for Italy, Economic Modelling (2020, with D. Federici and F. Ferrante), The educational roots of persistent territorial disparities: the case of Italy, GeoJournal (2022, with D. Federici and F. Ferrante). He has been a visiting professor at several foreign universities (Fordham University, Instanbul Nisantasi University, University of Aveiro, University of the Azores, Complutense University of Madrid, University of Latvia) and has participated in national and EU-funded research projects (Euromod, Diecofis).
