Teaching material

All UNICAS email addresses (faculty, students, and TAB personnel) are Google addresses. This allows direct access to Google Workspace services (Forms, Sheets, Sites, Meet, Drive, etc.).

The platform for sharing educational materials (PDFs, videos, links, etc.) at the University of Cassino and Southern Lazio is Google Classroom.

To access the materials available in the Classroom portal:

Use your @studentmail.unicas.it account.
Find the Classroom code within the dedicated viewing app, available at the following addresses:

Open Classroom at https://classroom.google.com/ (on PC) or by using the dedicated app (on any mobile device, any operating system). Always remember to use your @studentmail.unicas.it account.

Email addresses for students

All students enrolled in degree programs have access to a Google account, including an email address ending in @studentmail.unicas.it, along with collaborative tools such as Drive and Classroom.

The email service is automatically activated upon enrollment, so there is no need for any additional steps to activate it.

Eduroam

The University of Cassino and Southern Lazio has joined the eduroam federation (www.eduroam.it), coordinated by the GARR Consortium (www.garr.it), representing it internationally. By joining Eduroam, the University of Cassino and Southern Lazio can provide access to its Wi-Fi network to all users from federated institutions and allows its own users to use the Wi-Fi networks of other federated universities.

Free Software for Students

The University of Cassino and Southern Lazio offers its students the opportunity to benefit from the main products of MathWorks and the Office 365 ProPlus offering. (both links are in italian, but you can translate them in English using your browser).

Language Courses

The University offers its students, employees and faculty online language courses that can be accessed via the Internet using a browser and their University credentials.

Courses are available at multiple levels and in multiple languages and are organized according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), starting from the lowest level (A1) to the highest levels. More information on the CEFR is available on the Council of Europe website or on Wikipedia. In addition, each course has a placement test, which is useful for checking one's starting level. All courses are also accessible outside the University network.

To access the courses:

1. connect with any browser to the following address: https://studente.unicas.it/

2. log in with the same credentials used to access GOMP and click on Login

WebTV - Podcast

The WebTV and Podcast channels are open to the Academic Community for recording lectures and seminars, events, interviews, and any contributions that may be of interest to our community.

Events produced by the University's WebTV can be accessed via live streaming or on-demand using the University's YouTube channels or the Didactic Events Areas.

The UnicasOnCast podcast channel is open to the Academic Community for recording audio contributions that may be of interest to our community.

Audio recordings are made available on the UnicasOnCast podcast channel and on different platforms (Google, Spotify, Amazon Audible).
