Erasmus+

Erasmus + mobility for studies

The Erasmus + call is published once a year (usually between February and June) by the Erasmus Office. Read carefully the call and the requirements needed to apply.

A Learning Agreement must be prepared according to the following instructions:

  1. Download the Learning Agreement for Study form as a word file
  2. Before starting to fill in the form, read carefully the footnotes
  3. Fill in the first box in all parts specifying the contact person names, addresses, telephone numbers, email, for both the host and sending institutions.
  4. Fill in Table A (list of exams that you want to take at the hosting university):

Go to the international students (or Erasmus students) webpage of the hosting university and select those exams which are similar or coherent with those included in your study plan and count the same number of credits (or approximately the same).
In general consider that exams you want to take abroad have to be approximately equivalent in terms of contents and number of credits to the exams you ask to recognize here.
It is possible that you find exams with the same names as your Bachelor program exams in Cassino: in this case you can add them to the learning agreement.
It is possible that you find exams with different names but seemingly with similar contents: in this case you need to obtain a pre-approval by the Erasmus responsible of your Bachelor Program (see below). The most important issue in the selection fo exams is that the total number of credits in the host university cannot be inferior to the credits recognized at unicas. For example, if you take 26 credits abroad, then you cannot ask for recongition of 30 credits, but you can ask for reconition fo 24 credits (4 exams), the extra 2 credits can be recognized as Other Valuable Activites.

When you select the exams in the host university, please check they:

a) are offered at Bachelor's level;

b) are taught in English or in a language that you are familiar with (at least corresponding to a B1 level);

c) are taught in the semester in which you have planned to leave

5. Fill in Table B (list of exams that will be recognized in your study plan):

Include the list of exams for which you ask the recognition of the credits gained abroad, checking that the total number of credits you want to gain abroad, in Table A, is equal or greater than the number of credits you ask to recognize, in Table B.

You can combine modules to reach the number of credits of our exams (e.g. three exams of 4 credits can be recognized with two exam of 6 credits), provided that their contents are coherent.

Be aware that exams which do not have a correspondence with any of your Bachelor Program exams can be recognized as Other valuable activities (up to 6 credits), provided that they are coherent with the learning objectives of your Master Program and that you have included Seminars or Other valuables activities in your study plan before leaving.

6. At least two weeks before the deadline send a draft of the Learning Agreement to the Responsible person for Erasmus Program for a first check, jointly with:

    a)  your study plan;

    b)  the full list of the exams offered by the hosting university.

    You will receive indications on how to modofy the LA

7. At least one week before the deadline the pre-approved LA must be sent to your program Coordinator for final approval and signature (Prof. Piero Esposito, piero.esposito@unicas.it)
