Global Economy and Business (GLEB) is an international master program with English as official language, accreditated by the Italian agency for the evaluation of university and research system (ANVUR). It is designed to meet the challenges of a global economy and to train professionals for work and research.
All GLEB graduates acquire a strong background in the core subject areas: International Accounting, International Business Law, Economics and Statistics, plus additional skills in Advanced Economics, Business Organization and Quantitative Methods, required for succeeding in the global economy.
Organization
The program lasts two years, 120 ECTS are required to graduate, including an internship (mandatory) and a master thesis.
Five Dual Degree programs are available within GLEB:
- DD in Global Economy and Business + Business Administration, with Epoka University, Tirana, Albania;
- DD in Global Economy and Business + International Business, with Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics, Kharkiv, Ukraine;
- DD in Global Economy and Business + Applied Economics, with University of International Business, Almaty, Kazakhstan;
- DD in Global Economy and Business + Behavioral Economics, with University of International Business, Almaty, Kazakhstan;
- DD in Global Economy and Business + International Economics and Business, with Széchenyi István University (SZE), Győr (Hungary).
All GLEB students are strongly encouraged to take part to Erasmus+ and/or other mobility programs during their studies.
Career opportunities
GLEB graduates can have a wide range of professional profiles. Their competences can be spent in many fields, in both the private and public sectors (e.g. companies, consulting, research institutions, universities) and at both a national and international level. Many GLEB graduates have been admitted, with scholarships, to PhD programs in European universities.
Admission
A Bachelor Degree (Laurea triennale) is needed for admission. Candidates are required to have an adequate basic knowledge of accounting, law, economics and statistics.
Specific selection criteria are tailored to the students’ country of origin.
