Pre-enrolment procedure

RULES FOR APPLICANTS

Italian applicants:

Italian applicants must follow the standard procedure to enroll on a Laurea Magistrale. Visit the University of Cassino and Southern Lazio website for deadlines and requirements.

Non-Italian applicants:

-Residents EU and non-EU nationals who live in Italy with a regular work or study permit must apply to the pre-enrolment procedure

- Non-EU resident and Non-EU nationals undergo the current immigration rules. Early applications are strongly encouraged, given that immigration rules require a limited number of non-resident non-EU nationals students to be enrolled in the program yearly. For this reason, non-resident non-EU nationals applications are processed on a first come first served basis.

Pre-enrolment procedure 2025/2026 and steps to follow:

If you have read the Admission Requirements (including the Admission criteria), then

Step 1)

create a new account/login to the Student Portal GOMP and submit your application through the "Pre-admission International Students" Section.

The following documents must be provided:

  ●   university transcript (or EU diploma supplement);
  ●   curriculum vitae;
  ●   motivation letter;
  ●   certificate of proficiency in English;
  ●   current (valid) passport or identity card.

After uploading the documents, you will be required to pay a pre-admission fee of 15 euros using a credit card
(Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, or Masterpass) to complete the application. Early application is strongly encouraged in view of the required paperwork. You will be notified by email about the outcome of the application.

Note that you will also be required to choose one of the two Master's Degree Programs in Economics (Economics and Entrepreneurship (EE)  or Global Economy and Business (GLEB). You are invited to carefully examine the two study plans (click here for EE and GLEB) before expressing your preference.

Please note that it is possible to apply for both Programs by completing two separate applications.

Deadline to apply: May, 15

We recommend you to use only the above platform to provide us with all the requested documents. Any document sent by email will not be evaluated by the Selection Committee.

Please also note that:

for university transcripts, a provisional transcript of 5 semesters (if you are graduating in the current academic year) may be considered by the Selection Committee;

for English language certificates:

- IELTS or TOEFL will be accepted by the Selection Committee;

- a declaration stating that your previous degree was obtained from an institution where English was the medium of instruction will also be accepted by the Selection Committee. In the latter case please note that Italian Embassies typically require a valid B2-level English language certificate (such as IELTS, TOEFL, Duolingo, or an equivalent) in order to issue a visa.Therefore, if you receive a pre-admission offer, we strongly recommend that you obtain a valid English certificate before submitting your documents to the Italian Consulate/Embassy for your visa application.

Step 2)

Our Selection Committee will evaluate your request according to the Admission criteria. Depending on the time of the year, and on the amount of requests received, this step might take a while.

Step 3)

Once pre-admitted, you will be required to enter the Universitaly website and follow the instructions there to apply to our Program. Be careful: if your application on Universitaly will lack some documents or relevant information or names are misspelled (names must coincide with the names on the passport), this will delay the release of your student visa from the Embassy.

Step 4)

Once your documents will be correctly uploaded on Universitaly and validated by our staff, we will inform the Italian Embassy that you have been admitted to our Program.

Step 5)

The Embassy will evaluate your request and release the visa.
