Progetto HERMES L’ipervelocità per lo scambio wireless di dati. HERMES Project Hyperspeed for wireless data exchange. Immaginate di essere alla cassa di un negozio mentre pagate l’importo dell’acquisto con il vostro smartphone. Un’azione di vita quotidiana ormai solita per molti. Ora pensate la stessa scena, ma nel futuro. Sul display che mostra l’importo da pagare compare l’icona di una serie televisiva che vi appassiona, o una saga di film da vedere quella sera a casa con i vostri cari. Puntate il vostro telefono verso l’icona e nel tempo necessario a leggere il codice a barre scaricate anche l’intera serie o l’intera saga! Un progresso della tecnologia eccezionale! Una notevole comodità, nel solco di quanto siamo abituati ad aspettarci dal futuro. Futuro al quale sta lavorando il progetto HERMES, creando un’unità di scambio dati iperveloce, basata sul grafene, in grado di trasmettere e al contempo ricevere dati in maniera totalmente sicura e protetta con una velocità di flusso finora inimmaginabile. HERMES Project Hyperspeed for wireless data exchange. Imagine paying for your purchases at a shop’s checkout using your smartphone. For many people, this is an everyday action now. Now picture the same scene, but in the future. The display showing the amount to be paid also features an icon for a TV series or film saga that you’re passionate about. You could watch it that evening at home with your loved ones. You point your phone at the icon, and in the time it takes to read the barcode, you have downloaded the whole series or film saga! An exceptional technological advancement! A remarkable convenience, in line with what we expect from the future. The HERMES project is shaping this future, by creating a hyper-speed data exchange unit based on graphene. This unit is capable of simultaneously transmitting and receiving data in a completely secure and protected manner at an unimaginable speed.
